Who we are
We are Max and Pia and bought the Quinta Serra de São Mamede at the beginning of 2026. Our lifelong dream is to build a therapeutic donkey farm. And here in Portugal!
At the moment, besides taking over the farm, we are also busy with our little baby. That's why changes on the farm will become visible only gradually, little by little.
In the meantime, above all we want to be good hosts for you and offer a wonderful holiday home for hiking holidays, family holidays, nature holidays, birdwatching, cultural excursions, groups, couples' getaways or pool holidays.

What's happening on the farm
Every day we work in the apartments and on the farm to keep everything beautiful and well cared for, bringing design and nature into harmony. Our most important supporters are our neighbours – the loveliest neighbours in the world!
Later this year we want to get sheep so that our 10 hectares of land are well grazed. Little by little, donkeys will then move in with us too. Later on, therapeutic offerings, relaxation activities and other leisure activities around our animals will be added.
